Camp Holiday Trails’ mission is to empower, encourage and educate children with chronic illnesses, their families and healthcare professionals by providing a summer camp and year-round programming aimed at personal growth.

Camperships
Over $94,315 campership assistance was provided to eligible families. 92% of campers needed and were awarded partial financial assistance based on a sliding scale for fees.
Therapeutic Riding Program
Over 30 youth volunteers were lead by the director of Horses as Healers in providing a therapeutic riding experience for all of our campers.
MedKorner
A rotation of EMTs, LPNs, RNs, Physician Assistants, nurse practitioners and Pediatricians staffed Med Korner 24 hours a day throughout the summer. A total of 31 healthcare professionals lent a hand during summer ’07!
Co-Medical Directors Dr. Carlos Armengol and Dr. Gretchen Wasserstrom were joined by Dr. Bill Hammill to lead the Med Team.
