The staff team and Board of Directors of Camp Holiday Trails work hard year-round to raise the funds needed to ensure every child can attend Camp, regardless of ability to pay. Camp Holiday Trails incurs a cost of approximately $2,500 per Camper for a two-week summer camp session. The average each family can afford to pay is just $125.
We do not turn any family away based on ability to pay –
our work is to make up the difference.
- To receive financial assistance, families must provide proof of eligibility using our Campership Assistance form.
- Approximately 95% of our families require financial assistance.
- Over 85% of our Campers qualify for free and reduced lunch and we participate in the USDA Summer Meals for Reimbursement program.
- No child is turned away because of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, orientation, or socioeconomic status.

Other Ways to Give to CHT:
Donate ANY car, truck, RV, boat; it’s fast, free, friendly, and better than low trade-in value or high repair costs. Donate your vehicle through Vehicles for Charity and select Camp Holiday Trails as the beneficiary!
OR
Make your IRA generate incredible returns long into the future! Ask your investment advisor to send you a beneficiary change form and name CHT as beneficiary of a percentage of your retirement account. IRA distributions are taxable, but not if they are paid to a charity.
OR
Do you have an asset that has appreciated substantially in value, but pays no income? You can convert that asset to an income producing one without paying a capital gain using a Charitable Remainder Trust.
OR
You can name Camp Holiday Trails as a part of your Planned Giving Strategy.
